Notice about COVID-19 and Updated Visitation Policy

We are excited to be able to expand our visitation guidelines! With most of our residents now being vaccinated, we’ve adopted revised visitor policies to help facilitate more frequent and comfortable visits with family and friends, while still keeping our residents safe. For our licensed programs, all visitors must follow the directives set forth by the NYS Department of Health. Please note the following guidelines when visiting:

  • All visitors MUST be screened on arrival for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Required screening consists of both temperature checks and screening questions to assess potential exposure to COVID-19. Visitation will be refused if the individual(s) exhibits any COVID-19 symptoms or does not pass the screening.
  • During the visit, visitors must wear a face mask over mouth and nose at all times while in common areas. We will provide face masks to visitors who lack an acceptable face covering.
  • Please do not visit if you are sick.
  • Visitors are asked to use alcohol-based hand sanitizer before and after the visit.

Please Note:

  • Visitation will be refused if the individual refuses screening or to wear a mask in common areas.
  • In the event of a case of COVID-19 in the community, visitation may be suspended for a period of time.

Before visiting, please view the below guidelines for your specific community:

Visitors may be invited to dine with residents if reserved in advance on the outside patio, or in the Robertson (private dining) room.

Residents may reserve the guest suites for use by their visitors for an overnight stay on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Visitors are also allowed to stay overnight in resident apartments and cottages.  We ask that overnight visitors screen and temp once per day.

Visitors are asked to use other common areas only to make their way to the resident’s apartment, and not linger with other residents.
