The programs and services offered at Eddy Memory Care at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center are designed for individuals living with early to mid-stage memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias. 24 hour medication management, supervision, and care

Our licensed nursing staff is trained by a nationally certified dementia care trainer and is available around-the-clock to provide high-quality, compassionate care and administer medications to our Residents. Our Residents living with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia will never be responsible for keeping track of their own medications or medication schedule.

Eddy Alzheimer’s Services

The Eddy is the only system with its own Alzheimer’s division, complete with an Alzheimer’s expert available to you for questions, information, education, and support, completely free of charge.

Ongoing specialized dementia education and communication coaching for all staff

Continuing education, professional conferences and training by a nationally certified dementia care trainer, the ONLY place in the area with a trainer with this certification.  The course study keeps our staff informed of innovative programming and the latest creative problem-solving techniques, so they may give our Residents the highest-quality of care.

Life enrichment programs

Daily programs are designed keeping each Resident’s unique interests and aversions in mind, allowing for optimum engagement, growth, and enjoyment.

Full-time activities staff

Scheduled activities and outings directed by an experienced licensed nurse are designed to keep Residents’ interests, capabilities, and quality-of-life top of mind.

Flexible Resident schedules

Schedules are designed to support the lifelong patterns and preferences of each individual Resident.

Interior courtyards and outdoor garden pathways

Residents have the access and freedom to enjoy the beautiful outdoor garden pathways and interior courtyards alone or with friends and family, all within a safe, secure setting.

Assistance with Activities of Daily Living

Assistance with personal needs like showering or bathing, clothing selection, dressing, hygiene, dining and more are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at no extra charge and administered by trained caregivers.

Full-service beauty/barber shop

Conveniently located on-site, our beauty/barber shop offers a full list of services and is managed by local, licensed stylists.

Religious services

Worship services available if desired, celebrating many different types of faith and belief systems.

Physician, pharmacy, psychological and podiatry, PT/OT services available

Our highly-trained licensed practical and Registered nurses monitor your loved one’s health and keep doctors and families updated on any changing needs.  Based on a Resident’s needs physician, pharmacy, psychological, podiatry, and physical therapy services are available on site.

Quiet Care® Monitoring technology

Quiet-care is an unobtrusive system of smart sensors that monitor daily activity around -the-clock. With the information that QuietCare provides, our staff can identify changes in your loved one’s daily activity, take preemptive measures to ensure well-being, and respond immediately to potentially urgent situations.

Respite care

For families who need short-term relief from their full-time caregiving responsibilities, Eddy Memory Care at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center offers care in fully furnished residences, providing meals, fellowship, and assistance with daily living in a supportive environment.

Skilled Nursing

Skilled nursing is available on-site when the time comes that a Resident’s health requires more advanced care.

On-site Resource Center

As part of The Eddy Alzheimer’s Services, our Resource Center is easily accessible and provides educational programs, support groups and family forums, professional conferences and workshops, as well as a lending library for loved ones, caregivers, and professionals.
