The Terrace offers seniors 42 one- or two-bedroom private apartments with well-designed floor plans. And, in The Eddy tradition of excellence, The Terrace features amenities and services that offer freedom of choice and freedom from worry in a community of warmth and security. Monthly fee includes:

  • Three balanced and nutritious meals daily
  • Assistance with daily activities, such as bathing and dressing
  • Licensed nursing staff and 24 hour resident care assistants
  • Medication Management
  • Regular health and wellness assessments; case management
  • Resident Service Advisor Program
  • On-site physician, psychological, podiatry, physical therapy and occupational therapy services
  • 24-hour security staff and emergency call systems
  • Daily resident safety checks, bed making, touchup cleaning and trash removal
  • Social activities, cultural, recreational and educational programs
  • Scheduled transportation
  • Housekeeping, laundry and linen services
  • Residence and grounds maintenance
  • Utilities (including telephone service, basic cable TV and Internet access)
  • Attractively designed private one and two-bedroom apartments
  • Beautifully landscaped grounds and courtyards
  • Tastefully decorated common areas, including library, living room, dining room, activities center and Country Store/coffee shop for light snacks and sundries
  • Full-service beauty/barber shop

The Terrace at Glen Eddy also offers Short-term Respite Care – Minimum stay of fourteen days, maximum stay of seventeen weeks.

Residents of The Terrace at Glen Eddy benefit from special help and assistance from licensed nursing staff and resident assistants who are on site 24-hours a day.

They also enjoy many of the same high-end amenities and services that our independent living residents enjoy, like:

Pricing:

The Assisted Living options here at The Terrace cost significantly less than a nursing home and there is no entrance fee, just an all-inclusive monthly service fee that’s primarily determined based on the size of the apartment, how much assistance the resident requires and whether the apartment is for an individual or a couple:

  • For a studio apartment, the monthly service fee starts at $5,798
  • For a 1-bedroom apartment, the monthly service fee starts at $6,407

Although Medicare and Medicaid don’t cover assisted living, the Veterans Administration does cover some of the cost for qualifying veterans or their surviving spouses, and some long-term care insurance policies cover part of the cost as well.

My days at the Terrace at Glen Eddy began on February 2, 2002. There were six of us who moved in that week. Now eleven years later I’m still here and still very contented.

There are many factors that have made those years very attractive and it’s very difficult to differentiate. However I think I need to start with the Staff.
