Eddy Memory Care at Eddy Hawthorne Ridge Presents: How to Manage the Stress of Being a Caregiver

Taking care of a loved one can be rewarding, but is also very stressful. Caregivers can easily become overwhelmed by the demands of Caregiving, especially if they feel like there is no hope that the person will get better.

If the caregiver does not receive physical and emotional support, the stress of caregiving can take a toll on their health, their relationships, and their state of mind. This will leave them vulnerable to depression, anxiety, and burnout.

If you are a caregiver and allow the stress of taking care of someone get to this level, both you and the person you are caring for will suffer. This is why it is as important for you to learn how to manage your stress as it is to give adequate care to your loved one.

To learn more about how you can manage the stress of caring for a loved one, join Deb Buzanowski for a free informative session on caregiver stress at the Sterling Center at Eddy Hawthorne Ridge in East Greenbush on September 14, 2017 between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
